1. A force of 100 N is applied to a box of mass 20 kg of t an angle 45 degrees above the horizontal. Find mk given that the box accelerates 2.3 m/s/s.

2. A student decides to move a box of books across the floor by fulling on a rope attached to the box. She pulls with a force of 80 N at an angle of 25 degrees to the horizontal. The box has a mass of 25 kg and the coefficient of kinetic friction between the box and the floor is 0.300. Find the acceleration of the box.

3. A hockey puck is hit on a frozen lake and starts moving with a speed of 12 m/s. Five seconds later, its speed is 6 m/s. What is the average acceleration? What is the value of the coefficient of kinetic between the puck and the ice?
