I have a diagram here of a small ball sitting atop a cliff of some kind. Above it is an arrow pointing off the edge of the cliff, with a V over it (velocity I presume). The vertical slope of the cliff has an H next to it. At the bottom of the cliff there is a cup, and from the cup to the slope of the cliff is a line that says D. Can someone help me figure out a formula for finding the distance to the cup? I'd appreciate it much.
