physicalism is self refuting?

If everything is causally determined that must include the products of our reasoning. So, any appeal to Reason is really just an appeal to physical necessity. We can only coherently appeal to Reason if it lies outside of the cause-effect chain. So a physicalist making the statement "physicalism is true" HAS to say that, due to physical necessity, therefore why should I believe him or her?
