A) The cars come to a complete stop, since their momentums add. They each have 20000 kg m/s of momentum, but in opposite directions.

B) If one was driving North and the other East, they would go 14.14 m/s in the North-East direction.

I have 2 questions: ish..
A) Two automobiles, each of mass 1000kg, are moving at the same speed, 20 m/s, when they collide and stick together. In what direction and atwhat speed does the wreckage move if one car was driving north and one south?

B) If one car was driving north and one east?

Anyone kno where i can find answers for the Conceptual Physics book by Hewitt 10th Edition? Dont say Cramster cuz they only give odds, I need even answers.
