PHP script to help manage a list of people with info plus links to a 'profile' page?

I want to display a list of people on my website. It'll be a list of names, and when one name is clicked, a new window, or a new 'box' will appear ontop of the content showing that persons 'profile' as such. I'm just not sure what type of php script I should be searching for?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

You shouldn't, these things don't exist off the shelf for your needs. It's a simple job and you should do it yourself or pay for it done.
