php script doesn't execute or come with blank page..?

I am using XAMPP on windows XP. html source code or script executes well but php script or code doesn't work and show blank page.. when i opened index.php file in htdocs it says something is wrong with Xampp installation.. but i uninstalled xampp and installed wampserver.still it was same problem the php script shows blank...now i again installed xampp...pls help
when i open http://localhost/index.php or any other php enable document ,and view source then no php source shown in browser..but it just shows html source ..
i have started all services including apache..
 
Suggestion: just get rid of XAMPP. I am a windows user, but when it comes to web servers windows suck. Get ubuntu and set that up. You can install on it a virtual box such as vmware (http://vmware.com/products/player/). Install Lamp and put all the files you need into the /var/www/ folder and you are good to go.

But without the actual error i couldn't say whats wrong.
