PHP programming question?

Is it a good idea to learn PHP on the same time than Actionscript3 ?(Flex3). How much time should I study comparing to AS3? Should I study one day PHP and the other day AS3? Thanks for your precious time.
 
It is always advisable to study only one language in depth. Then switch.

I feel that php is more easy to understand and quite impromptu if you have programming experience. So, definitely study php first and study well to the point that you are decently confident about it.

Then, start learning AS3 and you will see that it a different realm altogether, but definitely somewhat more fun than php when it comes to handling flash content and graphics.

Again ... learn PHP first, use it and then start with AS3.
