PHP Parse (View Source Question)?

just a random question
i know this probberbly isnt possible, but is it possible to view the source of a php file on the web before the php parser has had a chance to parse it. or is it being parsed every few seconds, or is it when ever someone clicks on the page?

(sorry if it doesnt make to much sense)
