Any help or guidence would be greatly appreciated as this has completly stumped me.
Im trying to download PHP, MySQL and phpMyAdmin with XAMPP. Got bit of a problem with downloading XAMPP though. My laptop downloaded the installation file ok and went through the installation process with no problems. But when I get to the final page and press 'Finish' it does a couple of final tests and the following error messages are displayed.
'Ports 80 or 443 (SSL) already in use! Apache2.2 service failed!'
'Port 3306 already in use! Installing MySQL service failed!'
Upon trying to open the XAMPP panel it displays the following error message.
'XAMPP component status check failure [3]
Current directory: c:\xampp
Run this program only from your xampp root directory'
After this the program does start but just displays the same error message in the control panel.
Any ideas what I can do to rectify this?
