PHP Lower level file's?

I run JPN Network, powered by glype.
i want to "network" my scripts this is the code am using.
// Load settings

require GLYPE_ROOT . '/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10/includes/settings.php';


Each number is a proxy, and each proxy runs of 10.
i want 1 to hold it, but 10 has this
// Load settings

require GLYPE_ROOT . 'includes/settings.php':

and cant go back to 1 and shoot for that i have to set "glype_root"
glype is free on glype.com and am proxynetwork in the form.
