Hi there,
I'm a Zend Certified PHP Engineer who has always been in full time employ.
I'm wanting to move into contracting for flexibility and variety. I am just wanting tips and resources on what contractor employers expect from an "experienced" contractor?
I have my own PC, all the development software I need and I have done freelance work for friends and contacts over the past 2 years on the side. And a laptop.
I also own a tax registered limited company as sole director.
Does anyone have any tips of what an employer looks for when they say "experienced contractor" aside from the obvious track record of contracting?
Cheers
