php date and time convert to total seconds?

$datem2 = date("m");
$datem3 = date("d");
$timem1 = date("H");
$timem2 = date("i");
$timem3 = date("s");
$epoch_1 = mktime($timem1,$timem2,$timem3,$datem2,$datem3,$datem1);

it display "1257050469"
now how to convert it exactly to the date time with seconds with php?
