I have a high quality TIFF file that I want to edit with the brush tool in photoshop, but when I try a message comes up saying "could not use the brush tool because it does not work with 16 bit per chanel images. convert image to 8 bit per chanel to edit" Does anyone know what I can do about this, because I dont want to change it to 8 bit because that will decrease the image quality I assume? I want to keep the image quality.
photoshop wont let me use brush tool with 16 bit per chanel image?
