photoshop users.. (shadowing text)?

i am trying to design a logo for my friend....

i want the shadow to look like its coming in the middle of the text, how do i warp the shadows to look like this? i cant get it to look right with skew.
i have cs4.
 
I don't think you can, since the light source strikes the object face on. Only by squewing can you do ib. You might want to go to touch up and then lighting to change the angle. That's all I can suggest.
