okay, so this is kind of hard to explain but, i wanted to know how i do something toa photo. I want to put a flag faded into the eye of someone, i used to know how to do it, but i totally forget how, all i remember is it has to do with layering ..? please helppp !!!, i know u layer the pics. then earase what u dont want or something, idk , help ????? step by step please, and i don tremember how to layer so just please include all steps and details

You could layer the pictures if you want, then layer the pictures and erase. If you want the image to be transparent, go to the layers, and there should be a bar above it with Opacity. Reduce the opacity until you have the effect you want. (This depends on which photoshop you have, by the way.)
I recommend that you do this first, then erase, or do whatever it is you'll do to get the shape of the eye.
Hope this helps! (:

Okay what you want to do is pretty simple so here are the steps.

1. open up the picture of the person
2. make a new layer (it should be moved, if it isn't already, above the backgrounds layer which is the layer of the person)
3. Paste the flag onto the new layer.
4. you probably need to make the flag smaller and crop it, so go to edit, transform, scale, and try to get it down to the size of the eye
5. Change the opacity of the flag so you can see through it (the master opacity is in the layers column)
6. no take your eraser tool, with a large feather and erase any excess flag so that it coveres his eye.
7. now to do it to the other eye just right click on the flag layer and click duplicate and use the arrow tool(move tool) to move the copy onto the other eye.
8. And there you go!
