I want to make my text the color of the paper i print it on, is there any way you can select the text, and delete it so its the color of the paper i print it on, if the background is deleted?

Im making a wedding invitation and the girl wants to print it out on ivory paper, but the text is white. i want it so no matter what color the paper is, the text is that color.

does that make sense? fldkasjfs;l

thanks.
The background is purple.
but there's a wedding dress cut out on it that will be ivory since it's ivory paper.
and i want the text to be cut out, too. but idunno how to do it :/

If the background is ivory and the text is ivory how will you be able to read the text? won't it just blend in with it's surroundings?

i dont know what the tool is called but if you right click on the text tool it will give you the option of using another text tool (it has dotted lines in place of text) and it will make your text a selection and you just need to delete the selection to make the text the color of the background... (you may also have to unlock and delete the background layer so you get a checkered pattern which means it's invisible) good luck! hope it comes out nice!!!
