After reading a tutorial I tried this. I open a picture with a black background. I turned the whole picture b&W. Then I open an adjustment layer and using levels I turned the background blacker. Then I want to use the eraser and light up the subject some but when I used the eraser I get this error message "Background eraser does not cover composite" Can you tell me what I did wrong? Thanks.
