Photoshop CS4 gray tones have a reddish cast?

I have tried changing the settings in Edit > Color Settings, but I haven't
had any luck. This happens even in grayscale mode. However, gray tones appear correctly outside of PS. I looked on Adobe's website, but I couldn't even find the FAQ. Any help?
This happened with every image I tried, even new documents, so I know it's not just one picture.
