I have a Sony DSLR A200k Camera
When ever i use a fast shutter speed the picture always turns out dark
How do you use a fast shutter speed, whilst maintianing the light
As, when the shuttter shuts at such a high speed how can the light get in.
I want to get some water droplets photos, or fast motion photography like a helicopters spinning blades
Any other hint and tips would be greatful
Thanks

Are you shooting in low light? In low light...& and fast shutter speed...the photos will come out dark. You say you want to have some shots of the droplets..if you are doing it indoor, i suggest you get a lens that has a much wider aperture. OR, if you get ALOT (i mean ALOT) of light around the droplets...you'll be able to do fine.
