Photography Internships with Animal Conservation?

did you try google, you really just need to email places like the aspca and ask
 
Hi everyone!

I'm currently a BFA in photography, and want to explore a career in animal- oriented photography. Pet photography, zoos and wildlife all interest me, but I really want to help with rescue organizations for abandoned/neglected pets.

So...if anyone has any input on great places to get internships for this upcoming summer in any of these areas, let me know!

PS-
Willing to travel, do not have to be paid.
And I know the basics, so unless you have the hookup, don't just recommend NatGeo.
