I am 14 and living in the UK, and I am becoming interested in photography. Nothing professional, just amateur stuff. At the moment, I have a Rollei Prego da6325 digital camera. It's not a DSLR or anything, and I am not planning to buy one, since they are very expensive, but could you give me some tips on photography?
Also, on some photos I have seen (e.g. http://www.flickr.com/photos/heartless_wench/2156365004/in/set-72157603972298953/) the background is blurred. Now is this done with the way the camera is focussed, or is it done on the computer?
