Hi i'm a 'hobbie' photographer and would like to take it further.

I'd Really like to take up professional photography as a side line job to start with, looked at some great on line courses but just wondering if anyone on here has some experience with successfully achieving this and earning money eventually??

I'm more into action and sports photos. Any help or advice would be great!!

Thanks

Taking an online photography class is cool, but to really get the most out of your photography class, you should be around an instructor. They've gotten paid and have years of field of experience. They can help give you tips on where to start and what you can do to become a better photographer. I would recommend a Photography school, but since you want to start it as a side job you should continue to just take courses. Most of the courses available at a community college are very cost effective and are no different than a course at a university. But make sure you choose the right course. There are specific classes for digital and black & white.
