Photography Business Pricing?

I work for a photo company but i have been doing my own photography for a while now on the side.
I just want to know how much I should charge people for a session and then how much for individual photo costs as i am only an amateur Photographer?

My work charges $70 for an "8x10" which i couldn't do as it is way to expensive for an amateur. I think i will just have to come up with my own packaging prices. Thankyou..
 
it kinda depends where u live that determines what people will pay
I live in Louisiana Most of us can't afford to spend $70 for 1 photo

But in this area for photography you looing between $5-$15 for 5x7
& $15-$35 for 8x10's ( along with a protrait session fee.)

Go around to Other pro studios see what they charge then look around for some other freelancers and figure a price in between
