Photo Shop CS4 - repairing a photo?

I am new to photo shop and not quit sure how to go about repairing a photo. I have an old family photo that I have scanned into the PC. The picture has a crease in it. Like a bend in the photo. Can anyone give me the steps to fix this in Photo Shop or at least get me started on how to fix the photo?
