Photo shoot ideas for 18yo male?

i need to create a myspace, and i'm a photographer, so i thought i'd do my own photoshoot. i'm photogenic, so no probs there. i just need prop ideas and stuffs. big thing, cuz it's for my myspace band page, i just dont wanna go to a professional photoshoot cuz of the money, ya kno?

The reason you go to a professional is because you know you have someone who knows what he is doing behind the camera. If you're in front of the camera you can't be behind it at the same time. It's much harder than you think to get a good picture of yourself by yourself.

That being said, pose yourself in masculine poses. Keep your shoulders and your hips parallel, don't twist at the waist. Stand up straight and puff your chest out a little. Crossed arms is a good way to make yourself look like you've got biceps.

Do your research and look at magazine pictures of male models in fashion ads or band pictures in publications like "Rolling Stone." Imitate the ones you think are best.
