Phones with a2dp?

Dollar Bill

My next phone will be a phone with a2dp.. or a phone that can use stereo bluetooth headsets..

I know SE k800 and k610 have it.. can anyone tell me any other phones that have this as well?

I am not to sure about what that is but I was told my new 8400 by Sanyo did not have it and that it a good thing to have.. So I am assuming I can't use bluetooth stereo headsets if it doesn't have that right? Rose

Look for the "W" series of SE to have A2DP. It's their 'walkman' line.
That being said. Most of the higher-end SE phones have A2DP.

So if you buy an A2DP stereo headset your phone has to have it also right? I am sure my Sanyo 8400 doesn't from what everyone has talked about.. I am new to this whole bluetooth stuff. Thanks, Rose

LOL!! I love my Sanyo anyway It's ok I'l deal with it.. It's my 1st bluetooth phone and I love it.. My main concern is getting a good headset to talk with.. I can lsistento my music on speaker that's ok... Thanks Though, Rose

honestly. just keep an extra pair of headsets for when you want to listen to music. I don't see a problem with that. Use your BT headset when you're driving and stuff, and when you're jogging, at the gym or whatever, just use the wired headsets....

There's almost always a solution to every problem. And when there are no solutions, there are ALWAYS ways to circumvent it =)~

Thanks, I am trying to decide which headset to get now.. I am on my way to either Radio Shack or Best Buy or Comp USA one.. Everyone says Plantronics so I need to decide which model #. I like the Motoirola H700 but they say it gets staticy.. Plantronics 510 got good reviews but it's kind of big.. But thanks for your help..

re: headsets. Keep in mind what's important to you. Always remember that you have to sacrifice something somewhere. Aesthetics, performance, price. You can only ever get 2 out of 3. heehee =)~

If you're looking for quality, you need to look for something that has some sort of DSP (digital signal processing). It will give you a clearer conversation. But of course, you have to look at what your price range is going to be. You could always opt for top of the line.....Invisio Q7....takes sound from the vibrations of your jawbone. But that's just gratuitous (for now).

Jabra has a nice new one that's small and has good quality. But I think it's still priced around $200. *shrug*....

Thanks, I chose the Plantronics 510 that several people liked. I know there is a Plantronics 655 with DSP but someone said this had some kind of wind cancellation I don't know it is charging now so I will try it when it's done.. It's a little big around my ear but it doesn't bother me like the Samsun in the ear one did.. As long as it works good I don't care what it looks like.. Thanks again, Rose
