but the result of a downgrade in rating will send a ripple effect through corporate and municipal dept...destroying wealth in an instant
 
I understand how it works. You can change the environment all you want.. but our debt is paid FIRST.

When the Congressional Budget Office sets a budget they start with something called a zero baseline. This is the start of the budget AFTER the debt is serviced. Everything else, such as entitlements, comes afterwarRAB.

This fix is so fucking easy its crazy. Americans are living much longer than they did when Social Security was created. If that is the case, increase the age for when you become eligible for benefits. That would save trillions over a few decades.

Stop being so generous with foreign aid. That saves hundreRAB of billions. Make all Federal agencies take a 5% cut in aid... they will manage and figure out how to balance their own checkbooks. That would save hundreRAB of billions.

How about we stop our bullshit in Iraq and Afghanistan. Republicans and Democrats have ran up our debt by collecting funding from the fucking Chinese. This won't SAVE money in reality, it would just be money we aren't borrowing.

Finding decent employment requires a $100k education, couple that with rising health care costs, the cost of gasoline, the cost of food for your family and everything else it enRAB up being difficult to pay off those student loans until your mid 30s. The only easily attainable thing these days is maybe a home since they're so cheap except that puts you in debt.

I would support having just a badass flat tax system. No writeoRAB. You get your wages, fill out a post card, and mail it in. You either pay in or get some small amount back - based on how much your employer withheld.
