Guys, I need help picking a phone.

I used to have a blackberry but that got water damaged so i'm in the markefor a new phone (gonna buy a new one off EBAY)

ok, so this is what I want in the phone
-WIFI
-the ability to download games or applications (like word jumble) basically just want to be able to download cool stuff via WIFI so that I don't get bored.
-NOOOOOOOOOOOO DATA PLAN, if i wanted a data plan, I would have just bought the Iphone
-preferably touch screen and some kind of camera

Is there a phone that exists that would be able to do this kind of stuff without me having to get a data plan. Please let me know.
Thanks!

On AT&T, only the iPhone requires a data plan. With other phones they suggest you get one, but you are not required to have one, especially if you don't plan to use data. Not even a Blackberry requires a data plan. You need it only if you wish to use the Blackberry features, such as push mail and the browser. That said, the only phones that have Wi-Fi and touch screens, other than the iPhone, are Windows Mobile phones. These are smartphones and while they don't necessary require a data plan, few reps will allow you to get them without one. Reps make commission off data plans, so getting a rep to sell you a smartphone without a data plan will be tough. Though you could initially get the data plan and call up and cancel it. Either that or buy an unbranded phone and just pop your SIM in and go.

Hello. I'm a new member and have a similar problem. However, instead of wondering what phone to get, i am wondering if there are any phones out there that can use wifi without getting data charges from their cellular service provider?
I appreciate any feedback on the topic.

Thank you.

No cellular carrier charges you to use Wi-Fi when not using its cellular network. On the other hand, AT&T Mobility's parent company offers WI-Fi for sale. This is a separate entity from the cellular service. T-Mobile also offers Wi-Fi as a separate service from its cellular service.
