Phone Switch

Lets say someone had a contract and wasnt eligible for an upgrade for a while and wanted a new phone. They know someone that is about to start a 2 year contract and can get the phone for a reduced price. Is it possible if that person wants your phone and they get they phone you want to just switch phones? I have a contract with verizon and have the samsung u740 and want the dare and my mom is about to start a new contract and get the dare for the reduced price can she get it and give it to me and she can have my phone while keeping my contract and her contract the same? (my number goes to the dare, hers to my u740)

One thing not mentioned here though. You need to activate the Dare on her line first. This will show Verizon that the phone was recieved and that she agreed to the terms and conditions of the new contract. After this you can switch it to your account. Thanks.
