Well, I've increased my spending limit for phones, along with allowing for a higher monthly bill. These two things combined open up a venue of phones that I know next to nothing about. "Smartphones" and the like: HTC Touch, iPhone for example.
Well, I wanted to know what phones would be suggested for this class of phone.
I do not, nor do I foresee any, travel outside the U.S. So Quadband (AFAIK) isn't as necessary to me.
I mainly want to be able to use the phone for
* Web browsing (This means 3G/HSDPA and all that is important for speed.) (Possibility of WiFi)
* DMP (Digital Music Playback)
* Talking (Clarity/Reception)
* Texting/IM/SMS/all the features that are associated/similar to that
* Email usage
* Apps such as those you would use for viewing/editing documents, etc...
I am entering my Sr. Year of High School and will be going into college shortly after the end of said year. I want to have this phone up until college, in which time I will upgrade to the next best thing.
I see this as an investment.
Having said that, I'd like to TRY and keep it to around $300-400. Kind of rules out the iPhone, but from what I heard that isn't a bad thing
