Phone recommendations please

I posted in Tmo area but thought this might be a better place to post.
Hi, my 2yr Sprint contract is over this month, and I need a good family plan (my fiancee and I), preferably with 2 phones. I've been looking all over point.com, wirefly.com, and other places to find good deals. I've narrowed down a few of my choices, and I was wondering what I should do. Here's the list so far.
With Tmo - family plan $59.99/month - 700 minutes (with myfaves)
1) 2 free Samsung Trace
2) 2 free V3m (RAZR)
3) 2 free V3t

With Sprint - family plan $59.99/month - 550 minutes (however nights start at 7pm)
1)2 free KRZR
2)2 free RAZR V3m
3)2 free Sanyo Katana

any suggestions? other phone recommendations appreciated. Don't know anything about cingular.
About phone use, I use my phone pretty regularly, I don't care at all about music, about intenet, or about the camera. I just want a phone with good reception, with good battery life, with good coverage, that's cool.

Sounds to me like you just need a basic phone. Any of the ones you have listed should work fine IMHO.

Cingular and Verizon have better coverage. TMO is next and Sprint brings up the rear. If TMO has worked for you in the past, then you might should consider to stick with it. If you plan to travel overseas, then only Cingular and TMO will work (in most places anyway). Before you switch carriers, make sure you check coverages where you will use the phone - where you live, work, play and travel.
