Phone NooB Question/ Nokia N73

OK folks, dont flame me to much.

I just got me a Red/White Nokia 73, i dont know much about phones so i have a few questions.
First I have T-mobile but will be changing to Cingular in 2 months what do i need to do to search the internet? what plan if anything extra do i need to add to my line? do i need to install extra software onto my phone?

Ok another issue, i bought a 2gb mini kingston SD card and put songs(mp3's) on it but can not find them on my phone afterwards, i also have a transcend card that i will be using, please tell me what i need to do.

I have tried to search for the info but i am not to phone savy lol HELP PLEASE i love this phone but need to be able to use all its features

oh and also i would like to know what i would need to do to check my e-mail through my phone and what i would need to do to view and edit Word documents.
 
You should get the web settings automatically when you put your new SIM in. Just add the $19.99 unlimited data plan to your Cingular account. You don't need to change anything else other then the new voicemail number.



When you open up the Gallery, they should be there. When you loaded them into the memory card, did you format it first? If so, make sure you create a separate folder for your music or use the one created from the format.



Well you can use the phones built-in email client, or install a third party app like Profimail. To view and edit word documents, you need the full version of Quickoffice. The free version only allows for viewing.

i cant figure out what i need to do to find the songs on my memory card wtf! Someone please help before i throw this phone against the WALL!

First i formatted the card in the phone and then added my songs off my comp that i wanted, then i put the card in but nothing! WTH
 
No not yet but i will in the morning.... I've always had Samsungs and know them inside and out, but i was so impressed with the N73 i fugured it was time for a change. Anyways ill keep you guys updated

I just dont understand because i bluetoothed a song over to my phone and chose to save it to the mem card but its the only one i can find lol
 
He shouldn't have to do this. He should be seeing them wherever he put them on the memory card. Something doesn't sound right.....

I've found that 95% of my problems can be resolved with a soft reset. And if all else fails, do a full phone reformat. If this still doesn't work, I don't know what to tell you.
 
OK after hours of going back and forth trying yo figure this out even with PC suite i can still not get it to work i dont know why, but the strange this is i can transfer the music and everything with the software and i see it on the computer screen but when i go to find it on the phone its not there..... Now i put Some music on the 128mb nokia card that came with the phone and it found it and played it no problems... Im thinking my 2gb transcend card that i bought at Fry's Electronics isnt formatted right or its just not compatible, but i formatted the card in the phone first so i dont understand! WTH!
 
Dude try a different card. if you could put the same songs on the Nokia Memory card and use it in the phone, then it's not the songs, it's not the phone, it's the memory card. Contact the manufacturer, it should have at least SOME sort of warranty. If it doesn't. buy a better brand that does and count the lesson learned.
