Phone for my mom

Hello, I'm from Toronto, Canada and my mom wants to get a very inexpensive phone from Rogers (signing contracts is ok). She is kind of a technology illiterate, so she is not looking for any fancy features on the phone. All she cares about is the phone's reception, as she often works in the basement that has weak wireless signals. Her current phone from telus sometimes gets dropped calls in the basement. In addition to having good reception, she wants an easy to use phone that is stable and durable. Of course having a little camera and bluetooth won't hurt.

We talked to a friend who works in Rogers and he recommended nokia 6103. What do you think? Good reception and battery life?

Thanks in advance.

Nokia is known for their excellent reception, also I think the UI should be very simple...so the 6103 should be a good choice
