My boyfriend bought me a Sony Ericsson Vivaz for my birthday a couple of months ago, & I loved it. Last week I noticed there was a small scratch on the screen, so I took my phone to a shop in town to buy a new screen for £50. The man in the shop kept making excuses and my screen wasn't fixed for 3 days. I collected my phone, took it home and found that the background light kept flashing. So I took it back and told him I wasn't happy, and he fiddled around with it again. I sent a message off it, and it worked fine so I took it home. Now I've realised that it's only the messaging that works, nothing else on the phone functions. I'm so annoyed, I paid £50 for my phone to have a new screen & it comes back to me messed up. I don't know what to do now, can I ask for my money back and go elsewhere? I don't know what my rights are, or even if I have any!
