Phone Booth DVD

spoiler

watched this yesterday.

it was ok - but i agree that there weren't quite enough twists, and the tension didn't really get cranked up enough.

the guy getting shot at the start was a good one, with Farrell being set up as a suspect, rather than a victim - but after that it just meandered along. although i think the cops should have read a bit more into the fact that he was still there and refused to get off the phone sooner.

even the pizza guy *twist* wasn't strong enough because we'd heard his voice at the start, and was nothing like keifer sutherland.

still enjoyable enough tho.

I think thats the point though - for the viewer the pizza guy isn't meant to be a twist in terms of us thinking its him, uts then we find out they don't have the right guy - we already knew it wasn't him, thats why we don't see him when they find the body but when they show it to Farrell. Of course he won't realise its not him as hes not going to be thinking "oh I remember his voice can't be him" - after all how many pizza delivery people would you be able to recognise by their voice?!

You kind of know from the start that there's going to be a moralistic 'twist' at the end, but it still provides over an hour of enjoyable entertainment :)
