Just noticed in the paper he'd won a Golden Globe for Capote. Don't really pay much attention to these types of things (though I persist to watch the Oscars in the vain hope something worthy wins...), but it's heartening to know he's been afforded something for his talent.

Almost Famous
Punch Drunk Love
Happiness
The Big Lebowski.

He's probably my fave modern-day actor.
 
I've only seen him in Along Came Polly and thought he did a good job in that, although it did seem he was like a budget Jack Black.
 
Yes he is a great actor. He is incredibly versatile; he can play very different characters and yet be utterly convincing in them ie the rich selfish playboy in "Talented Mr Ripley" and the desperate perve in "Happiness". Plus he has that sharting line in that film whats-it-called, that was a funny line.
