I have seen this movie a couple of times and it was overwhelming and breath robbing every single time... Yet today I watched parts of it and Gerard singing All I Ask Of You (Reprise) killed me. OH MY.... How heart breaking, the number moved me way more than it did the first few times I watched it. I can't believe I didn't cry. :eek:

This movie gets better every single time! "Masquerade" is still such the showstopper. :clap:

And I don't dislike Raoul as much. :lol:

Anyway, just had to say that.
 
Now I read the book by Susan Kay and I loved how she sculpted the characters to who she wanted them to be yet kept it viable!

So of course after reading it, I had to rewatch it :D
 
:rotfl: I know... She SO kills the moment! Ah! I love how the climax follows their way up the stairs as if the music running up with them. :sigh:

Behr Yup! Patrick Wilson is amazing but Raoul sorta straddles that line between romantic hero and fool so, yeah. But he looks great doing it! ;) While I have little hopes of watching him on stage, I'm looking forward to a few movies he has coming out. :nod:

Also, I found out that the Christine in the Hugh Panaro vid I posted is like THE Christine. That's Sarah Brightman, she's *it* when it comes it to POTO. I have yet to hear her voice so I'll get on that later. :lol:
 
I've got the Japanese one. I didn't care for the Korean one, but I'm sure it can be found on some bittorrent sites. Their voices scared me more than the two German versions I have. :lol:



I'm partial to the version from Spain and the Italian one. :D
