Petsmart Grooming Question?

I have a long haired guinea pig and her bottom has gotten really matted and i was wondering would they be able to take care of that issue or at least show me how to? If not what can I do about this because I have no idea how to fix this I've tryed once before and it just didn't work out any idea on what to do?
 
if it is too severly matted take siccors and cut the mat in half. but cut vertically with the hair instead of chopping it all off then it wont be so short on the back end, then brush it out. you may need to just keep it cut a little closer around the back end area so that way it wont have any more matts. If you dont want to cutt the hair then try soaking and putting plenty of conditioner in and brush it out. see if any of that helps
