Petrol Car battery health?

I used to take out my new Santro car normally once in a week and in the last 9months it has run 760Km,recently i am facing starting problem and 4-5 attempts are now required, but once it starts it becomes fine. Is it due to less driving, the battery is not getting charged? Then how much km should be driven to keep the battery healthy?
Will it help if i start the engine regularly for 1-2 min at parking position?

Could be the battery.
Could be fuel quality due to fuel standing. It really does "go off"
A trickle charger to keep the battery healthy is best and unlike one answerer said a fully charged battery is the best way to keep it. Car batteries do get a "memory". A poorly charged battery can freeze in icy weather.
Running the engine for 2 minutes will not get it fully warmed up and could result in corrosion inside the exhaust system and engine.
There is no magic number of kms to keep a battery healthy as the kms do not equate to a charge. At tickover and low speeds the battery does not get any charge.

for a battery to stay healthy it needs to be run down and recharged. letting it set fully charged all the time it creates a false memory in it to where it thinks its fully charged so tun it as often as you can even if its just short distances
