Peter Schiff on debt downgrade

Napkin calculations:

EBIT 30.191b
Short/long term debt of 632.28b
Debt/EBIT = 20.94

so by this logic the US can tolerate a debt load of $50.26T

GE is rated AA+ as well. Rock on. I had read something about how S&P is far more lenient on corporations than they are on sovereign, which doesn't make much sense.

am i supposed to PM you a threat or something? Are you banned right now? No. There's like, 1 word, maybe 2, that can get you banned from OT, and you constantly and loudly push it. So i pushed back. So get over it, and go on and finish dominating this thread plz

You're saying he's good because he's up since the sell-off? My granny is up 100% since then being long her VFINX or whatever. Fine, links to his managed account performance that aren't from his marketing web site?
