At the bottom of his arc, he picks up person 2, whose mass is 56kg, in an inelastic collision and then they both swing together.

(a) What is person 1's velocity when he reaches person 2?

(b) What would their joint velocity be after impact?

(c) Could the two of them reach a branch whose height is 1.5m from the ground? Explain answer showing reasoning?
