I am a 57 year old male. For the past 9 - 12 months, I have suffered from persistent nausea. I had lost almost 10 lbs., which is when I finally went to the Dr., but have since gained the weight back. I had blood work, abdominal ultrasound, CT scan and an endoscopy....all negative. I have some discomfort in my lower left quadrant, but the CT scan was focused on my pancreas and not the lower left area. I am not hungry for lunch for at least 5 hours after breakfast, and am not hungry for dinner for at least 6 or more hours after lunch. I wake up every morning with nausea. I have tried to isolate some foods, to see if something in particular is causing me the nausea, but most foods don't seem to agree with me. My MD said that I should see an alergist. My GI guy has no clue. Does anyone have any ideas what I might do or what might be causing this? I don't enjoy eating, as I know I will be nauseous in an hour.
