period 4 days late, done a test which was negative, could i be pregnant?

My period is now 4 days late, and I'm normally regular as clockwork. I did a test the day my period should have come, which was negative, could I still be pregnant, I have NEVER missed one before, if i had concieved it was 2 and a bit weeks ago, is it too early to show up?? I used the clear blue digital test,, anyone else had something similar happen????

Digitals are wayy more picky than that of original hpts. Don't give up hope.
