Period 3 days late tested on expected period day with First Responce Rapid Result BFN?

I used First Response (I think - it was the package that said you could test 5 days BEFORE your missed period), but I didn't get the BFP until the 10th day after I expected my period - and now I'm 19 weeks a long and everything is looking good. I tested every day or every other day in the morning, just because I'm impatient.

So Im official 3 days late, and on the day of my expected period day I took a First Response Rapid Result and it came backk negative. Now im seeing online that the sensitivity of that test is very high and I may well be pregnant but that test can not detect it. Im thining about getting an Early Result and testing again today..

Anywho does anyone know the sensitivity of the First Responce Rapid Result for sure? (It says you can take it on the day of expected period)

hmmmm, in my experience you can have a false negative if the pregnancy hormone is not high enough for the test to detect it. Sometimes a woman will not get a positive result on the day of a missed period. I took a test I think it was the day after I missed my period and it was so faint you could barely see it. No matter how faint the second line is, it's a positive result.

I have heard that you can never get an accurate result w pregnancy test until your body produces enough HCG to get a postive. Could be unto to 14days late before you get a 100% accurate result.
