I am building a yamaha it490 and I am doing the engine completely with rebuilt crankshaft, 1990 yz490 cylinder, modified combustion chamber in head to relieve pre-ignition with a yz250 cdi box. etc.
My question is has anyone tried a RFS Carb. off of a yz450f etc on a 2 stroke and how did it perform. I am looking at trying a 39/40mm carb.
