Perfect first day of school outfit?

I'll be entering high school this year and I was looking for any ideas?
I've had to wear uniform for middle school and elementary and I dont want that to be obvious.

I love skinny jeans,flats,vans, cardigans,sweaters, tanks, dressy tops..(etc.)
and my favorite stores are pac sun, hollister, american eagle, and forever 21

so some ideas would be much appreciated:)
