We have a photo album entitled "The Adventures of Robinhood." One
year a mom robin insisted on nesting in my hanging basket of flowers.
We put out a ladder and photographed the whole adventure right up to
their flight to begin life on their own.

Very brave and feisty little birds, I have seen them chasing off
crows, magpies and even hawks. I got too close to the nest a couple of
times and got kicked in the head.
