I liked it, I thought Logan Lerman was very good as the lead- wasn't too sure about the girl but, I enjoyed it more than Harry Potter and said sequels which it's always going to get comparisons too.
Made me more interested in the Greek mythology as well.
love the books but not sure weather to see the movie or not as i have heard its not as good. try reading the books they are fantastic . there are 5 of them all together with rumors of a second series of books.
I liked it, on the whole. Uma Thurman was great as Medusa.
I thought the script was a bit poor in places, and really disliked the "training camp" bits and the whole "ADHD is your strength!" emo tweeny self-help American bollox.
Took two children to see this and they were spellbound for two hours. One preferred it to Harry Potter. I enjoyed it too. Nice couple of hours of escapism with a lot of recognisable actors in supporting roles. Special effects were pretty good too.
I really liked it. Decent storyline, and at no real point did I feel bored.
I felt like it may have been a wasted 3D opportunity. I think some of the monster/Medusa effects would have worked well.
I thought Sean Bean, Uma Thurman and Steve Coogan should have had larger parts too. Steve just was Alan Partidge again! LOL
How old were the three main cast meant to be? They all looked mid-20's to me, although seemed to be in 'high-school'. No wonder they all got into the casino without any ID...
Saw this yesturday, and really enjoyed it. I can't how people are comparing it to Harry Potter mind, I thought it was more like the recentish film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
