being conversed to ? i have this friend who is a pro-bush government , pro-war , etc and i was having a discussion with her that im happy obama has won because i beleive he stands for peace and justice and not going for anymore wars , and from that we had this debate about bush and obama, middle east , islam and afghanistan etc etc like any normal conversation but in the end she was like im offended by your thoughts and im shocked you think that way , i havent offered any insults or any swearing , just facts this happened this day , this date , he said this etc and draw inferences from the same , i beleive everyone is entitled to an opinion even if from the opposite end , but people shouldnt take it too personal when discussed with ideas from the other end of the spectrum, and she acted like she doesnt want to be my friend anymore , dont talk to me , im shocked you are not pro-bush etc etc and taking it too personal on herself , how do you deal with such people who always push and call for an opinion from your end but when you do and not play the violin to the tunes that they would like to hear they get offended and stop being your friends , i dont mind having friends with ideas opposite than mine , they're entitled to it as long as they dont insult or direct a personal attack against you as an individual or as a race , what do you think ??

talk about something she likes.
talk about stuff that has nothig to do with bush, just distract her.

whatever you said was right.
you have the right to support any politician you like.
she is stupid to take it personal.

and at some point someone might think that you guys are nerds.
