People who are anti-union are the biggest idiots ever

lol seriously, people don't realize how important unions were during and after the rise of the industrial revolution and how great of an impact they've had on our current labor laws and quality of working environment.

Like most good ideas in America, unions have become ravaged by the fat and lazy. The benefits that unions provide on a personal level have been taken advantage of and now everyone hates unions.

So you were hoping for someone to bite that it was your own original thought and engage you as if it were.

You were ignored because it was so blatantly obvious they were not your worRAB.

without unions, i would be subject to complete destruction of my career for a simple mistake resulting in FAA violation. with union efforts, we have no-fault error reporting that provides immunity for accidental errors

This. UAW is a perfect example of this. The automakers were on the brink of collapse in 2007 and you would think they would want to protect jobs by helping fix the problem. NOPE. First nationwide autoworker strike in 30 years

without unions, my career expectations are not preserved in case of a merger. i can simply be thrown at the bottom of a seniority list. with union seniority list integration mediation, i stand a chance at maintaining my domicile, pay, equipment, and career path

Unions, labor laws, OSHA, etc. were all borne out of the poor working conditions that arose out of the exact thinking you just presented.

This is just like your bullshit last night in the tax thread. You want to erase everything that's happened in the past 150 years, use the same thought process that was in place back then, and you think somehow the end result will be different from what it is now.

You're clearly well educated, but somehow that doesn't preclude you from being a fucking moron.
